We had a pretty fun Halloween. The weather was excellent, and we got about 90 trick or treaters. I was prepared for 130, so we did good. Trying to take our family picture was difficult. Ella would not cooperate. Her eyes would dart all over the place or she would stick her tongue out. We kept telling her that she was not going to get any candy if she didn't look at the camera. Meanwhile, we are trying to deal with Pancake who hates having the funnel on her head. In the end, we got a couple good shots and all is well with the world.
Both Claire and Ella did not last the whole hour and half. Claire lasted 45 min and Ella was about an hour. Both girls really enjoyed passing out candy to the trick or treaters. Ella was super polite the whole time she was getting candy. She had a whole saying... "trick or treat, thank you, Happy Halloween!" it was adorable. Claire got the hang of the whole thing right away and said thank you in her little quiet voice. So cute!
