Tomorrow is officially Claire's birthday but we had her party today at the Hess-Hathaway park. We got an animal tour, tractor ride and ate some good food, and cake. Claire got loads of great toys and was able to enjoy some of them this evening before totally crashing for the night by 7:20!
The crazy part about the whole day was the weather. It was supposed to be low seventies but I don't think it ever made it there. It was very breezy, cloudy and down right COLD! Half of the party guests were wrapped in blankets that people had in their cars!! (only people who live in Michigan keep blankets year round in their cars).
We were able to get the candles lit for a short time so Claire could blow them out. We also celebrated Steve's birthday one month early just because everyone was going to be together, so we might as well do it then. Everyone had a great time despite the cold! Thanks to everyone for helping make Claire's day so special!
