This past weekend was full of pumpkins, desserts, and good old fashion fall family fun! (yup, that was lame but I'm tired, get over it.) We went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. We thought Sunday was going to be horrible weather so we went Saturday. Turned out that Saturday was way worse than Sunday. It was cold, pouring rain at times, and windy. But the kids still managed to have fun. It was probably the donuts, cider, and slippery bounce houses that kept them happy. Rosalie loved running around the pumpkin field. Ella and Claire enjoyed finding the perfect pumpkin to carve.
On Sunday we went over to the Ubaydi's house for the annual pumpkin carving party. All the kids carved pumpkins, then we set them up for a picture as we always do. This year was different because we ambushed the kids with silly string after we snapped a few pictures. They were very surprised. It was a huge mess which makes me appreciate that it wasn't at my house! hahaha! Then we went inside for good food and YUMMY desserts. WAY TOO MANY desserts. Let the holiday muffin top begin!!
