Today was a snow day for the kids. No school due to 6+ inches of heavy, wet snow. I took the kids outside with me when I needed to shovel. However, I don't like to play in the snow. I don't like the cold, and I am pretty sure I got the shaft when I was born into a family that didn't already live in Hawaii. ;-) So I told the girls to play while I worked and when I was done, we went inside. But when Steve got home, he told the girls he would take them outside and they could build a fort. Just look at their faces! I think they would have been happier if I had been at work all day, and Steve had been home building fun things in the snow!
